For 50 years half of Europe was
under the Soviet regime. Life was a lot different – everything was
experienced through a strict ideology. Still youth spent their best years
in the pioneer camps doing sports, community work, marching, hiking etc.
We offer you an opportunity to experience the conditions and mentality of
the Soviet pioneer camp with all formal rules. This won't be propaganda
for any political regime. Our retro-SU is an educational flashback with
lectures about social criticism, Soviet history, culture, lifestyle, etc.;
experiences with fun and excitement; becoming friends with the most
special participants and crazy organizers.
But be aware, this is NOT just an usual SU! You will have 3 days in
Tallinn, where we will prepare you theoretically and give you time for
SU's must-do's: sightseeing, European Night, AEGEE-class and partying.
After that you will spend the rest of the SU in a camp located in a rural
area. There you will live like a real pioneer: do sports, work, have fun
and also party – all in the spirit of the pioneer camps. Keep in mind that
it is possible to travel in time, experience the impossible, change your
whole life, and we will prove it to you! |
